| January 2007 Dairy Farmers - Series 2000 Depalletiser
 It is well recognised in the dairy industry that handling of Tall Square based PET milk bottles (top heavy and lightweight issues) can present a challenge for any depalletising system trying to get product off the pallet and into single file at high speed.Dairy Farmers at Lidcombe in NSW knew part of the solution to the problem already existed at one of their other plants, where a Foodmach pressure-less singliser had been successfully used for full bottles. As expected, a trial run at Lidcombe confirmed that a similar singliser would work just as well for empty bottles. Project Engineer Peter Figiel recalled: ”Foodmach’s Series 2000 Depalletiser allowed us to palletise nine layer stacks instead of four, which alone more than doubled the throughput of our forklifts. We also achieved further productivity improvements in the automatic divider board removal and pallet stacking.” This underpins the Foodmach approach to solution development which is built on the principle of providing the best and most cost effective solution to its clients.
